In May 2007 we won the District Football competition and intend retaining it in 2008 and we did what a great day |

The cub pack has had a busy 12 months. In April 2007 we had a weekend camp at Beaudesert, cannock in lovely summer weather. Baloo taught us to make kites which we flew on the castle mound. ! June was the District centenary camp, BABJAM07, amidst thunderstorms and lightening and lots of mud, but a fantastic weekend enjoyed by the 800+ who attended! At the end of the summer we went on a group camp at Packington, where there was a 1 antlered deer that we called Bobby. During the winter we still do fun activities, like emergency aid, road safety and practising for our entertainers badge........ And there's always the swimming gala, when we came 2nd, again................. |

Cub camp at rough Close June 2008
I liked Rough Close because I got to get away
From my mum and sister to camp out with my mates and to do some brill stuff with cubs . I liked the traverse wall and in the shooting I got two bullseyes.
Setting up the tents was good, but the syrup sponge was better!
I’m really looking forward to the next camp and I am going to remember to pack my bag and to bring lots of spare clothes.
