Before Christmas the beavers decorations for the Christmas tree festival in the village helped the scout group to gain 2nd place. 

The Beaver Colony is 24 strong. Evening activities are varied, with trips and visitors frequently organised. Recently the colony has been learning about pet care, and healthy eating.

The Beavers enjoy visits to the group camps where they can take part in the climbing other adventurous activities, and sometimes sleep over!

The backwards cooking is just brilliant fun, cooking eggs in oranges, and chocolate bananas being a particular favourite!

In 2007 the Colony won the District Beaver Sports Day and with our enthusiastic and energetic beavers, we hope to retain the trophy in 2008!
